Good to see you!

I booked a gig at an amazing pub in Seattle called the Owl ‘N Thistle, partly because I thought it would be a laidback casual way to get back onstage after a hiatus of over two years (but mostly because I love the Owl ‘N Thistle which has always supported live musicians and is a comfortable space with great servers).

I arrived and I estimated about two hundred people were there! It turned out there was a “stair climb” – an annual Fireperson’s event nearby, and traditionally they all come over to the Irish pub after… So much for laidback re-entry!

I played some old songs and some new songs and a few covers, and I showed a bit of the guitar I’ve been practicing. What a pleasure to play for people again! Thank you!
